City of Northville Mayor Brian Turnbull, Northville Township Supervisor Mark Abbo, and Township Trustees Cynthia Jankowski and Chris Rossen are all members of the Northville Landfill Working Group which meets monthly and has been actively supporting The Conservancy Initiative’s efforts to minimize the impacts of the landfill including pursuing a lawsuit against the Arbor Hills Landfill.
Support from our elected officials will be very important to prevent a landfill expansion. We will address ideas for engaging additional elected officials in a separate post.
