The Conservancy Initiative and Northville Township have long sought better communications with the Arbor Hills Landfill. Green for Life, the new owner of the Landfill has committed to improving communications and informing the community of significant activities at the landfill. As part of this goal, Green for Life has sent us the following notification.
On Monday, April 5, 2021, construction will begin on our leachate tank expansion project located on the southeast side of the property. The construction is estimated to be from April 5, 2021, to April 9, 2021. Although we do not foresee any odor associated with this project, we have developed a contingency plan to address any issues. – Green for Life
The Conservancy Initiative appreciates the improved communications and is exploring methods to keep the community informed without being a nuisance. Your thoughts and ideas are welcome.
